A forum poster of a forum that I frequently visit once said in reference to writing: “It’s been said many times that there are no original ideas – usually in the same breath of justifying using PLR or some other source material for a rewrite (not that I have anything against PLR – I think it’s awesome).”
Then, we were asked to agree or disagree with that statement. Well, here is my two cents on that subject…
Disagree…whole-heartedly. As ancient King Samuel of Israel said so long ago: “There is nothing new under the sun.” For what it’s worth he’s right, BUT, the way things are done changes with time. Technology changes with time. Methodologies in certain fields change with time.
For example, as of the writing of this post, Apple is about to begin development and release the iPad 2. How many iPad 2 reviews are there…legitimate ones? Well, since it hasn’t been released yet and nobody has one, no legitimate ones have been written yet. When it is released for public use, you can bet iPad 2 reviews will be sprouting from article directories as well as review videos from YouTube.
So you see, everything keeps changing. It is true, there is nothing new under the sun, but change is the only constant, so there will always be things to write about.
Just sit down and write a list using the following points:
How do you (insert subject here), How do I fix (insert subject here), Where can I get (insert subject here), Where can I bring (insert subject here), Things do to in (insert subject here), What to do if (insert subject here), Learn how to (insert subject here), Ten ways to (insert subject here), The best vacation spots in (insert subject here), Guide to (insert subject here), Ways you could (insert subject here)…the list goes on and on.
This is by no means an exhausted list of questions that could lead to articles, but you get the idea. Writers/bloggers block is usually a function of just opening your eyes and find the answer to a question that somebody is asking.
