The Vatican Secret Archives have documents with some dating back to over 2000 years, and with the nature and sensitivity of such documents, you can bet that the security there is top-notch and it is super secretive. Some of the documents you find in this archive include King Henry VIII’s petition to divorce his wife, Catherine of Aragon, amongst other documents of both historical and political importance.

The archives are said to be over 50 miles long, and for you to apply for an entry card, you must be a scholar from a specific university and you must be involved with a certain scientific research and you must also know how to use the archive. You must also have a letter of recommendation from a reputed scholar in historical research. Forget about applying for the card if you are an undergraduate. As such, you may go for online passport renewal to visit a plethora of site in Italy, but the Vatican’s archives will probably not be one of them.

Poveglia is a little-known island found in northern Italy, and it was a site that was once used as a quarantine as well as a crematory for the people who suffered from the Bubonic Plague of 1348 and the Black Death Plague of 1630. The island was converted into a mental hospital in the mid-20th century but was later closed down completely following claims of hauntings in the island. Currently, no one is allowed to the island, including both tourists and locals, but you can get a special access from the government if you are a ghost hunting crew.

Area 51

If you are curious about secret places, then you have probably heard about Area 51 in Nevada Desert. So secretive was the place that the government denied its existence for decades. When they finally buckled to the public pressure to give information about the site, they purported that it is a military installation for testing new weapons and aircraft. However, it is believed that there is a more than just testing weapons happening in the area.

To begin with, access is not allowed and the area is guarded by mean-looking camo dudes who are willing to use lethal force should you try to force yourself into the facility. A lot has been said about the area, including allegations that it has aliens and other strange creatures, but no one will ever confirm or deny such, and you will definitely never get close enough to find out.

Club 33

Club 33 is located at 33 Royal Street in Disneyland and is another secret place you may wish to get to, but the restrictions will inhibit you unless you are willing to the full length of getting admission. It is the only place in the entire theme park that serves alcohol, but this, not the thing that makes it strange. The club was designed in 1967 for VIPs and celebrities and for you to access it, you have to pay a $25,000 initiation fees as well as an annual subscription of $10,000. But even if you have such kind of money to spend, the waiting list is a whopping 14 years long, which means you will have to wait for at least 14 years before you finally have the chance to walk through the doors of that club. For most people, the money is too much, the real killer is the wait time. No one is going to wait for over a decade to have access to a club. 

RAF Menwith Hill

It is this secret that has brought such tremendous success to the business, and it is understandable if it is kept as secret as it could possibly be, and it is believed to be in the Coca-Cola vault.

Very few people known about the secret formula and word has it that those people are never allowed to travel together, lest they get involved in an accident and the formula is lost forever? But again, the secret is written down on a piece of paper and stored in a vault that until a few years ago, was in the Sun Trust Bank. But the vault was moved to the World of Coca-Cola, and no one is allowed to open it and view its contents. The public cannot even get close to touch the vault as there are barriers to ensure the secret remains a super-secret.
